It seems there are plenty of people who do take careful note of my scribblings, even down to noticing the apparent directory I'm in when I SSH to not-yet-existent SheevaPlug-based serial console concentrators. For the record:
- My local machine isn't called "workstation" (my laptop is strumpet, following the theme set by my wife many years ago that my laptop is "the other woman" in my life -- the previous laptop was hussy, and I'm thinking the next one will be harlot; my office desktop is pirate, for the simple reason that I work at a company called Anchor, with the resulting obvious nautical theme to everything);
- Doesn't everyone keep their porn in ~/.porn anyway?
Thanks, however, to those people who noticed and let me know; if I ever do make an embarrassing cut-n-paste gaff, at least I'll know about it quickly.
